The usb is great just make sure you use only the formats accepted by the device otherwise youll get imagine but not sound or either way around

Focus is working only up and down so if you want it to put it on a tripod on a side of the bed it would not work you need to have it straight in front of the place you want to display the image

The only small down side is that the light of it is not that strong and youll not be able to use it in bright day light as youll see only shadows
