This cap saves me pain. It keeps the water from splashing in and out of my ear. And it saves my hair and keeps the mask strap in place. This works well to keep you warmer when you swim.

The velcro attachment works well. My only complaint is the * the bottom.

Don't be dissuaded by its, um, colorful appearance. Colors are wonderful for open water swimmers who don't want to be run down or go unseen in high waves. Bright green is his color and he this head gear completed his underwater outfit.

Problem is the forehead is cut so high that it leaves my forehead and about an inch of hair exposed to the cold water. This is too big of an issue and leaves a lot to be desired. After about a year they smell from the chlorine.
