To prevent water entering the mouth it has two valves at the mouth level and at the top of the snorkel tube

That is if i exhaled i did get water in the tube but as long as i held my breathe it was fine

The purge worked in both the mask and snorkel just fine

The mask was very soft and fit well to my face and the purge valve worked ok though forcing the water out by exhaling via my nose usually resulted in fogging

The main plus for this mask is it didnt have fogginess between glass like my husband mask did this did fog up at first until i used the spit spray which got rid of the fogginess for awhile
