Break-In Period
Customers have mixed opinions regarding the break-in period of the Propét Men's Cliff Walker Boot, with some reporting no need for breaking in while others mentioning that they take a short time to become comfortable. The majority of reviewers praise the boots for their comfort and support once broken in, with some noting the importance of finding the correct size for wide feet.
Leather Durability
Customers have mixed opinions on the leather durability of the Propét Men's Cliff Walker Boot. While some are pleased with their long-lasting and waterproof boots, others have experienced issues with deteriorating leather and soles coming off after a few months of use. Some customers suggest regular cleaning and conditioning to maintain the boots' quality.
Highlights
Quality
Boot is relatively waterproof, fits well, heavy duty, bit on heavy side, great sole for traction.
They are well constructed all leather hiking boots that should last a long time with proper care.
The first pair lasted several years and the glue in the sole finally gave way and the smmoth surface of the boot had cracks in it.
The refund came after about a week
Price
These were a perfect fit for my extra wide feet right out of the box, and they didn't have an exorbitant price.
Most hiking boots are limited to medium or wide, and getting them extra wide comes at a premium cost.
So, when i saw the price go down a bit, i bought another pair.
Packaging/appearance
Purchased and hiked in them right out of the box.
Competitiveness
I have also bought traverse as well as veymont hiking shoes.
Boots last twice as long as my other brand boots.
