The sole insert is a plastic, and i put it in a short sock so it doesn't make my feet sweat or stick. I love the fact that i can adjust it by using the strap/velcro, as i have a high instep and narrow foot/heel.

The 5-1/2 m fits me perfectly. They are light and airy. They breathe well and are comfortable to walk in. They go nicely with casual outfits and also dressier outfits. Propet is always reliable.

The width is perfect. I have wide feet to begin with and i have a bunion on one foot, and issues with achilles tendonopathy on the other. Toe box, surprisingly roomy, only part i don't like is the seam for the open part.

These are the most flimsy shoes i've ever seen. Clearly propet uses a different sizing standard than the shoe is not sized properly.

The velcro closure is a disappointment - the strap is very short and difficult to secure. It is so cumbersome that her caregivers and i won't fumble around trying to secure the closure. Needs to be longer strap.
