The lines are actually mesh. Very breathable, but unexpected. I love the mesh stripes because it keeps my feel cool on these hot days!

Proper makes good shoes in narrow widths but ive noticed in the last couple of years with repeated orders that some of their shoes run 12 a size or more too small

I currently suffer from lymphedema and these shoes cut into the top of my foot when my feet started to swell

One thing you cant really see in the photos is that these shoes are partially seethrough

Ordered a wide and it is not pinching my foot anywhere in fact it almost seems loose
