The protalus provides less arch support, while somehow putting unnecessary pressure on the frontal half of the heel. This can cause a mild plantar fasciitis reaction.

The only negative is the retail price is quite high.
Since these are fairly expensive i'm not quite sure if i can justify the cost unless these hold up to 6+ months of use.

I do want to say though that they werent a direct 100 snug fit for my loafers

Its not a big deal though since the inserts dont slide around i only notice it on the edge of my toe really

Id say these are a medium firmness
