Pros

The protec pc-2 cartridge does a great job keeping my humidifier clean. I use the humidifier every day in the winter because gas heat dries out my bedroom. Use the sunpentown spt su-4010 ultrasonic dual-mist warm/cool humidifier on the cool setting.

Cons

The cartridge claims to prevent microbe growth in the humidifier. Mold has formed on the wick and rim of the filter.

The scum came back in a day, that's one day! Clearly it does not. These cartridges are totally worthless. Only received 1.
