I had to look up the instructions on how to use it and in the end it did an automatic radio station search and saved each station to a number

I started out with the prunus shortwave radio but decided it was not what i wanted or needed so returned it

The only downside is as mentioned by others the need to punch in and therefore know the coordinates of the fm station you want to listen to
