Some suggest using rechargeable batteries to save costs, but even then, the battery life is not impressive.
Am/Fm Radio
Customers have a positive opinion about the AM/FM radio functionality of this pocket radio. They appreciate its ability to pick up stations well, both AM and FM, and its compact size making it easy to carry around. Some customers also mentioned the digital frequency selection and locking feature as added benefits. Highlights
Quality
Works well and is of sturdy construction so it should last.
It’s compact, but has really great sound quality!
At max volume (38) it isn't very loud, it appears this was designed for headphone jack use, the speaker appears to be an afterthought.
The crackly audio might be a problem with this specific unit as i suspect it might have been returned.
Price
I do wish it was rechargeable but that would make it cost more so no biggie.
I found the am sensitivity decent for the radio at this price.
Packaging/appearance
Reception comes in good, and it's tiny but clear sound.
Competitiveness
Even the channels that we didn't pick up weren't off that much.
I own a whole bunch of pocket am/fm radios, so i've got some decent comparison fodder.
Unlike a similar radio that i bought before this radio.
