Pros

The controller is lightweight in construction, but the shell is solid and has roughly the same texture as a ps controller. The d-pad is a bit stiff, but when you play with it it reacts well, and i find it to be very accurate.

Face button layout is perfect, and again, is better than the saturn pad. Top of the controller allows you to change the behavior of the shoulder * and triggers.

Being ps3, ps4, and pc compatible is awesome. Works with no fuss or muss on three different platforms. X input compatible so it works on street fighter v.

This feels more ergonomic.

This has to be the best fighting pad i've used since super nintendo. Better than the default ps4 d-pad. I play gg xrd and this pad gets the job done.

As a kid who wasn't raised through arcades but home consoles, i grew up with the d-pad for fighting games.

Used this on both ps4 now ps5 works great on both

I just couldn't get into fighting games with the regular playstation controller.

I purchased the hori fighting commander 4 (the one with the adjustable d pad) a year or so ago and broke it with light play in two months.

Competitiveness

I personally use this for dragon ball fighterz competitions etc and at first when i ordered this last year i didn’t use it often.

The precision and ease of a dpad plus the ability to use multiple fingers like a fight stick.
