Pros
Incredibly comfortable. Leather feels very plushy. Smooth headband. Battery lasts a long time and that’s good too.
The clarity is nice though, it highlights the game environment well. The level of immersion is tremendous. It really does work.
The sound stage is so realistic and the 3d space is on point. The 3d sound gives you an absolute tactical advantage. I have no bad things to say about it or seller.
New planar drivers are amazing. For $199 these are great value. Seeing his serious face lit up with a delighted smile is priceless. Bought for my son's bday.
Cons

To turn on headset you can press the power button once, but to turn it off you have to hold it till you see the green light.

Great value for the price, sound quality is excellent and included hanging charger is a nice touch.

I would like to say that my nephew loves his christmas present and appreciate that the delivery was expedited overnight.
I had the headset pre ordered and it shipped and arrived on release date.
Competitiveness
Now, the battery life is significantly greater compared to the explore and original pulse 3d.
They also chose a very odd placement of the power/connection led lights on the far right end of the headphones.
And from what i can tell, the sound quality is similar but i do think the elite are a touch better the the explore.

I dont really understand this pulse audio i dont feel like i hear it specially when im playing games no different than the other pair

Things i dont like though the mic on off button cant be controlled from the dual sense with this which seems odd to me and its super annoying if youre playing a fast game like overwatch for example and you have to move your hand up to hit the button and then back down to the controller instead of just moving your thumb to mute the mic seems counter intuitive and a bit of an oversight

I bought this because my day one ps5 gold headset had some wear and tear on it and i thought this would be a noticeable upgrade
