Pros

The unit is very sturdy and well built. Looks great and warms up the room nicely. Gives off super cozy vibes.

The heater is nice, and it does warm the room up. I notice when i go in the bedroom after it's been on for a bit and the hallway feels colder. But entering the bedroom (which is quite large) is noticeably warmer.

Easy peasy lemon squeezie. Less mess, no fumes and easy to install. That's what sold me on it, specially since it cost less than others.

It's finicky, but it eventually works. The timer seems a little wonky to me. The heat works even if i have to hit the * a few times and the timer works if i remember to leave the remote on the dresser and not by my bed.

Cons

We are forced to keep it unplugged. Probably need to use a better shipper. Wish i could talk to someone from pura flame to see what the problem is with the fireplaces.

Would definitely recommend, especially for the price!

This unit is excellent for the price.

Fireplace sound would be an added plus but simply got a fireplace sound machine for $20.

Great delivery time, easy install and customer service is great.

First, i ordered the wrong size and thanks to amazon making returns easy, i simply returned it and ordered the larger size.

I emailed puraflame, and they responded that day.

The seller was amazing and after the troubleshooting didnt work they sent me another one very quickly!

Packaging/appearance

Comes in a nicely packed very heavy box.

It also comes very nicely packed and arrived in perfect condition.

However it arrived super well packed and looked fantastic.

I like the look even when it's not turned on.

Competitiveness

I looked at other brands to replace my fireplace, but their dimensions are different than puraflame.

This product looks great, logs are small so the look more realistic than some other brands.
