Screen incredibly dim and would not brighten unless i shone a torch directly at the light sensor. Manually setting the brightness was not an option for me. When the volume was on anything less than 4 is was very hissy and generally unclear.
Highlights
Quality
It's easy to setup, the sound quality is good for the size and now includes a mini usb charger port for mobiles etc.
She craves tidiness — so the combination works very well.
I am writing the review as the issues other reviewers have had with the display don’t apply to us.
Competitiveness
I feel it's a little overpriced but it looks a well-made unit with excellent sound quality.

Separate presets might be better but unit would be less compact

The unit has a great sound it is easy to use and looks good the one problem is the auto dimming of the display when it is light no problem at all but as soon as it begins to get dark the display dims itself so much you cant actually see it the manufacturers need to look at this and put in some sort of intermediate twilight setting then the unit would be perfect
