Never powered off the unit during travel virtually left on 24/7 and the unit was virtually noisless and never overheated.
For the first few hours it smells like overheating electronics, but i think it is just factory "newness" burning off.

I thought this was excellent value for the price.
00 usd its a little pricey just to be able to plug in electronics but i havent had any problems with it by far.
Don't risk your $600 phone or your $1200 laptop by plugging them into cheap adapters.

I took it to rangiroa, french polynesia for a week.
Once they received that, they shipped me a new unit free of charge.
The wife and i ordered this baby a week before our honeymoon to indonesia (jakarta & bali), and then we spent a week in dubai.

It is compact, easy to pack and has a nice solid feel to it.
Must be travel sizethe box and components:the packaging was pretty standard-a small box with bubble wrap that contained all the components.
Included in the box were the power cord, the charger, and three adapters.
Competitiveness
It also has a low profile and doesn’t weigh very much in comparison to another converter i have.
I did find though that magellan sells a flat iron that will work on multiple voltages, so it would work in the us as well as overseas.
The cooling fan noise from the converter was quieter than the cpap.

The tripwhen i first used my converter during a family trip i used it to charge my ipad2 and cell phone using the two of the three outlets and nothing else
