I ordered this as a replacement for the oem that came with my laptop as that one had started shorting out

Had gotten the laptop from a friend after they burnt out original toshiba adapter and we tried another aftermarket adapter that said would fit it but had wrong plug sizes

Closest one worked but often at right tongue angle it would not power the laptop

But it is heavier than the original power supply and for some reason it sparks every time i connect it to my computer which seems scary to me

This charger is much bigger than the oem design that being said mine died from overheating so the larger design will likely preserve this charger

I thought i was going to have to switch out the internal power supply
