The sound was muffled. I have to have the gain turned all the way up and i really have to put the settings up really high on my av receiver. At full volume i had to put my fingers on the speaker cone to see if it was working.

Being sealed it doesnt get 34loud34 what it does offer is nice linear frequency extension that is very tame and controlled

I wired my speakers out of the subwoofers back after running cables from my audio receiver into the subwoofer
