This tripod is great for micing a cajon drum. The mic clip is removable, so this will work with any regular sized handheld mic. Great stand for use with drum mics.
I am very impressed how good the quality is of this desktop tripod. Perfect height, nice design and durable.
Pmksdt2s works very well for the application for podcasting. Has helped a lot with my constant remote meetings during covid-19 work from home. Works well with my laptop stand and bluetooth speakers.
Cons
The mic stand falls apart rather easily due to the fact that the shaft is only held in when the threaded screw is tight. Even in use, the threaded knob has to be really tight to keep the shaft from moving. The adjustable knob is a different shape from... Read More

My dynamic mic balanced ok but it’s not super sturdy.
Legs & tubes are metal w/ foam pads on the feet.
