Pros & Cons
Pros
This drum kit is great for beginners to everyday players. All you'll need to upgrade the pedals is 2 x piano/keyboard sustain pedals and a y-splitter that combines the two pedals into a stereo signal. Bass pedal sometimes double hits.
The 06 seems pretty similar to me (i don't use the computer or usb functions), but the tones seem a little better and the layout is good. There is room in the back for earphones which is really helpful especially as a beginner not trying to disturb ot... Read More
The pyle pro pads are quite impressive for price. All pads, * and body have no flaws or scratches. It sure beats the common practice pad to pieces.
Cons
Device claims to be a midi device that can be used on a pc via usb 3. Started malfunctioning after 3 months, next to useless after 2 yrs. Pedals are terrible work intermittent as well as some of the drum pad's.
Highlights
Quality
This drum machine is great, the included sounds are fantastic, the quality of the pads is strong and they are very responsive.
Quality electronic drum at a reasonable price.
I did not expect that i can receive the product well ahead of time.
This is designed for people who want to keep practicing hi hat with the right hand and left foot.
Price
Not the best sound but its a low cost drum machine.
Competitiveness
That made it a no-brainer to replace it with an upgraded model.

I’ve also owned the cheaper black color variant also made by pyle and erroneously assumed this pricer version would mean higher quality but the kick and hi hat pedals on this model are blocky and way worse not great for developing kick drum technique if you plan on moving to more sophisticated electronic or acoustic sets

The pads are responsive enough for some accenting and dynamic control but i’ve found after time that some pads won’t register even medium strokes a problem again less noticeable on the cheaper model

Both models have gone up in price since i’ve bought them but the pedals are way better on the cheaper model as was the design and feel

If the black variant isn’t available and this is your only choice it’ll get the job done just worse
