The pyle pre-amp is too low as compared to other sound sources of my avr stereo system. The specs of my phono cartridge are (close enough? Because of the poor volume output, it makes me much less motivated to play records.

All of my sour grapes aside, the preamp is the most basic and effective wsolution i have seen for old phonographs and new amps.

Just plugged in this little preamp to my vintage akai ap-b110 turntable and boy did it add some punch to the overall sound!
