The stand works great with the speaker.
Very well built sturdy and not to heavy to move around of course i bought mine with the intention of outside use for party's and such.
I have a decent size back yard and the sound quality was really good and loud.
I did go with the 15 main though.

If you are going to use this speaker in a portable fashion like for weddings parties etc you will want to get a xlr male to 14 inch 610ft cord most likely the 14 would be to connect to whatever audio device you want to plug in and can be changed to a 3
