Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The sound is cool, both clean, or crunchy (overdrive) i usually go overboard and get something that will overpower not just my house but my neighbors' houses as well. The clean channel is quite nice and the over drive is ok.

This little 30w amp, is the cheapest by far, in it's category. I find the amp is sturdy and very well made.

Cons

You get what you pay for. Not the logo in images. Buyers beware of buying used! I hope it's ok. Don't do it.

Amp sounds like someone put it together in their basement and put the pyle name on it. It is advertised as 60-watt, it is definitely not anywhere close. It ends up inhibiting the user (almost disgruntling) from enjoying the loud distortion sound.

It's shrill, the hybrid reverb / delay is lousy and overdrive is pure fizz, not fuzz. The crunchy sound of distortion advertised isn't as crunchy as i thought.

I am happy with the results at this price.

The quality is great, sound is sharp, clear and, bright.

I'll concur with a number of the reviews of the 60w.

Very nice amplifier and well worth the price!

Amp for guitar my husband bought said it was good for the price

I'd buy it again, but for the same price i might also try something else.

Shipping

Sounds good for the price and the shipping speed was great

Competitiveness

I had a line6 spyder2 for the last twenty years hope this one lasts as long.

Pyle has been around for years and it's a trusted brand in my house.

So, i didn’t need anything complex or high-end.

1) there's no footswitch jack (option) on it.

My experience has been that the dirty channel works great with an acoustic but blows out flat with electric to varying degrees with strat and lp standard versions

The built in reverb is nice in small doses but can be touchy above minimum levels
