Pros & Cons
Pros
Small footprint is also a selling point since i did not want a full sized amp overwhelming the space. Works great for my computer to power passive bookshelf speakers and takes up a fraction of the space of my old onkyo amp. Paired with a set of older ... Read More
It's crisp and clear with simple but effective adjustability between base and treble which you won't get on a play device that comes with a pre-amp preinstalled. Great sound via the 3 way speakers and excellent bt connectivity. The sound is clear, the... Read More
Fm tuner works very well, although the preset tuning is less than ideal. Easy to hook up to my phone bluetooth easily. Antenna works well, especially tuning in and holding one particular station that is remote and a weak signal. There is a hum on the ... Read More
The price is good. There are some quirks, but for the money it's well worth it! This receiver is a gem and you won't go wrong purchasing it. Exactly what is advertised.
Cons
It is sad to see the drastic decline of a company's product. Returned the item for refund. Will try to find something better.
Highlights
Quality
The sound quality is great, the bluetooth connects very quickly, and the retractable antenna allows for all my favorite radio stations.
The remote control works flawlessly at 16 ft, the bluetooth works fantastic, and it starts up at the last setting for the input.
Wired in two speakers, plugged it in, and boom.
It has an annoying background buzz reminiscent of tube amps.
Price
I must say, for the price, this is a great value.
Lots of features for a stereo priced under $50.
It's a small unit with a small price and it delivers a small punch.
For the price, it’s a heck of a deal.
Competitiveness
I have a set of bose speakers on my deck and these sound just as good as the bose.
I have also purchased 2 sets of pdwr50 and one sets of the pdwr30 speakers.
I bought the least expensive unit i could find that would allow me to use my rca cables.
