Pros

V power converter is just about perfect. It provides clean reliable power for 12 volt cb/ ham radios under 4 amps. Power reducer for all my 12v units. Powering a gmrs radio for a base application.

Product is well made and is a nice compact size. Very satisfied with this purchase. Works fantastic. Pyle makes a good product.

It provides plenty of power to run that little rig. Much better than a bulky battery on your test bench.

Cons

It shuts off when a drain of 3. Anything more than that and it shuts off. The transformer probably produces too high a voltage for the regulator. Binding posts are * and could not geta tight connection.

These are only my opinions and other buyers may have different experiences. Apparently, the one i got shipped is new old stock because there was no fan. This thing's destined for the junk drawer.
