The dishes are microwaveable and dishwasher-safe, although the seals are not microwaveable. I suffer from hormonal problems so take even minor precautions to avoid anything that can make my imbalance worse. Wash well in dishwasher.

Blue-lidded lids fit tightly and don't leak. Lids fit snuggly so that nothing spills. I can reheat the food in the container.

Have used pyrex glassware for years; have never had one break. Glass is sturdy and tempered. Also saves clutter of many odd size plastic containers.

Pyrex storage bowls with lids are great for storing small portions in the refrigerator or freezer. Freeze, thaw and eat, all in one bowl.

The lids are not the same shade as the other red lids we have. Only used it one time since yesterday. This feels pretty unacceptable to me - and dangerous! These are not a 2-cup size but a 1-cup!
