It largely depends on how i'll want to cook or reheat the food after defrosting. It heats food evenly and food doesn't stick.
Make the full recipe and put in both pans. They can be easily heated up in the microwave.

Kids love them and i am happy that replacement lids are readily available when someone bakes with the lid on.
I am in the process of replacing all my plastic containers with the pyrex.
They seal tight and they are good quality.

The lids are a little flimsy so i hand wash and dont even chance the top tray of the dishwasher
