I tried a few other cameras only to learn later from qsee customer support that not any ahd 720p camera will be compatible with the qc958 dvr

The video quality of them is fantastic but my only issue with them the 1star reduction are the cheap plastic mounts

If you overtighten the screws the mounts themselves can crack which is what happened to one of my camera mounts when i initially got the system

I wanted to get a dome camera instead of the bulletstyle cameras for above my front door in order to be more vandalproof but the qsee brand dome camera qca series is anywhere from 24x as expensive as the bullet camera

That left this qcaseries dome camera as the only one available that i was positive would work with my dvr
