The cable supplied, all 100 feet of it for each camera can’t be used with the included connector!
As far as the dome cameras included with this version of the kit, i'm impressed by the image quality of the qtn8044d dome cameras.

Also, no matter what i do the menu items hang part way off the screen.

We’re using a tp-link tl-wr700n configured in ap client mode to provide internet access.
These are not automatic ptz dome cameras, you have to set the angle and focus manually.

We live in a pretty decent neighborhood but decided to try out a camera system because of an increase in petty crime like our unlocked car being ransacked for loose cash and packages that neighbors have reported missing

Short version pretty good but not great package which has a couple of glaring oversights that make it far more frustrating than it needs to be though we worked around most of the shortcomings

Practically speaking to provide room to have it plugged in consider it around a 17” x 17” foot print

It uses a standard power cord of the type a desktop pc uses but it’s really short
