With the coax cables it uses youll have to run one cable directly from the box for each individual camera which is a nightmare for a big installation

What you really want for a larger installation is a poe system which most will allow you to create banks of cameras by running one cat5e6 cable to a poe hub in one area of your building and connecting a bunch of cameras off that hub with shorter cable runs

It seems pretty complete featurewise to other systems ive worked with in the past certainly nothing major appeared to be missing

Allinall this is a good inexpensive for 16 cameras dvr system but i wouldnt recommend deploying a dvr system with 16 analogcoax cameras in the days of poe digital hd cameras becoming very affordable

I got this for my house the feeling of cameras and a central dvr really appealed to me and this set seemed like aa better option thanstreaming
