The one thing i had to do to get the app to work on my phone was go to the computer and reset my router to make sure the port forwarding was all off and that the router was set back to factory when i went back to my phone and scan the barcode it recognized it and set it up no need for port forwarding just make sure your router is reset first its ok the dvr works as intended but the software is not intuitive and the mobile app is trash
