Easy to learn to use, i was quite impressed with the quality of the images, the options for viewing, and everything.
Picture quality is very clear in good light.
I am quite pleased with the video quality, and the infra-red night vision is great.

I guess i need to search on the q-see site about that, but apparently it can record audio too.

It acted like it was booting up ok but then went to a black screen with a input not supported sign floating around on it

Well now i was in a pickle because there is a big sticker on top of this recording unit which says never unplug it while it is on that you must either shut down by the onscreen menus which i could not see or by the power button on the remote

Though turning the locking collars on the connectors would then be a bit challenging where all the camera ports are crammed so close together on the back of the recorder

It was easy for my husband to instal and we received more cameras than we could use
