There was nothing fancy to do although there did seem to be some discrepancy between the state of the lights stated in the instructions and what i actually observed in the manual

As a bonus that didnt occur to me when i got this you can actually use a compatible usbc ethernet dongle to make a hardwired connection to a lan and still charge your phone at the same time

This wireless charging pad by evershop is a decent value basic model that is supplied with a usbc to usba cable – the pad itself has a usbc port so really a cable with usbc at both ends would have been better
