If it doesnt receive the voltage it wants to charge it goes into slow charge mode and says if you continue to charge your phone it could cause damage to the hardware and you should use the factory charger received with the phone

I really like that this is qualcomm certified since the lg g3s qualcomm snapdragon processor has a tendency to overheat especially when overcharged

The charger has built in fail safes to prevent overcharging and to prevent too high of a charge going to an older phone which is absolutely a plus

I would absolutely recommend this product for any lg product or if you are having problems with your phone going into a slow charge mode regularly
