Although the battery its self does not quick charge is does support high current charging at a peak of 12watts so it does recharge fairly quickly

Considering the choice of cable supplied would indicate potential buyers would likely have a usb type c phone not having a usb type c output seems strange

I previously owned a mophie which cost double what this does and although it is slightly older it is more clunky and heavier than this and does not hold its charge as well

Theres a couple of very minor gripes 1 once you connect it you have to press the button to turn it on

This phone is not quick charge at all but it went from 2 to 86 charge in 75 minutes with the phone off

The lg g5 lockscreen indeed says quick charging once plugged in
