It's an amazing buy for the price you are paying.

The board for the value is great but not good to use with liquid chalk markers as the surface is not smooth and liquid marker gets in the grooves which makes it difficult to clean

Ive used regular chalk and chalk markers water based on it but i have always tested on a small area on the corner before trying anything new

When you first get the chalk board it is a good idea to rub chalk over it all and then dust it off
