They have no way to adjust the waste and keep them up when either a) going in the water; or 2) when you have excess stuff in the pockets.

These are a great price, comfortable and easy to wear
For the price, they should have that.
I’ll be buying more colors whenever i catch them on sale lol.

Only wish they would make board shorts with packets like that.

Turned out to be better quality than some similar ll bean shorts i bought at the same time.
The union amphibian shorts are (in my opinion), the best feature/comfort for the value ($).
I've had lots of walking/hybrid shorts from various other brands and these are at least as good or better.

I dont think 4 fingers equals one inch or that the old shorts stretched that much considering they are polyester
