I decided to purchase this one from amazon as a replacement and am very pleased.
This doorbell button is high quality, easy to install, and very aesthetic.
The screw holes did not match up, so i used one of the old ones, and drilled a new hole into the stucco for the second.
One with the ground and one with the live wire.
Price
Great looking and a fair price- works fine

If you have an electronic chime you will probably have to do that

Also if that still doesnt work try reversing the diode and it should work fine

The door bell was a broken jumble of plastic hanging near the front door by the wiring as the screws had come loose from the stucco

Now if that wasn’t enough this gorgeous piece of technology lights up i will say it is not very bright as i fell walking over the threshold while holding 8 bags of groceries my phone truck keys 3 days worth of mail a football helmet the neighbors cat expired coupons to the local taco truck and one shoe that honestly is 1 size too small but the lighting was dim and the doorbell i’ll illumination was zero help
