Pros & Cons
Pros
Relatively simple to install. Instructions are in a very small type but easy to follow. Support from the supplier is outstanding. Youtube install video we're a huge help.
Using it to monitor a lifepo4 100ah battery for a trolling motor on a kayak. Not as sophisticated as the battery monitors that cost much more, but delivers the basic, rough info i need to monitor my flooded lead acid (fla) house batteries. I also like... Read More
The attachment studs are 3/8 so need to make sure you can attach the cable in your system. Mounting the display requires a 21/8 in hole saw for a through wall mount.
This monitor works both ways, and is comparable with the victron bmv-700, but at a quarter the price. This is very handy when you are charging.
Cons
The instructions are very difficult to read. It is too large to fit in the usual 2 hole in your panel if that is what you are thinking.

So i bought the $12 atwood box and this qwork meter.
Packaging/appearance
I got exactly what was pictured, and setup and installation was easy.

I tried other battery monitors and none worked as well as this.

You'll need additional wires depending on your set-up, but those are easily available thru amazon or your local hardware store.

I noticed a lot of youtube videos chose the alternate method easier method of setting up the display unit by charging the battery until full then setting the device to 100 but i chose not to go that route because i wanted to make sure where my 0 would be so that i wouldnt be stuck with a dead battery while out boondocking in my travel trailer
