Pros & Cons
Pros
The bench vice is cast aluminum, very sturdy. It has made my gun smith work a real joy—and the value and price…i am speechless!
It has built-in clamping. I do paracord braiding and it holds my work firmly. Will hold for medium loads like filing, sanding, etc.
Cons
Probably be fine for some applications. Try wrenching it down. Ball jams in the socket.
Highlights
Quality
It can also be tucked away when not in use with the vice still mounted.
This vice will supplement my large floor vice, several bench vices along with the tiny lapidatvices.
Price
This gets 5 stars because it absolutely works as intended and the price point.
Competitiveness
Great vice and gives the more expensive vices a strong run for the price.
Could have been slightly larger, but still a good value for the price.
