Easy Programming

I have received excellent audio reports on a couple repeaters i have tested on so far, on the first day with the radio.
This compact little radio gets the job done easily hitting all the local repeaters, works on 2m and gmrs!
Edit: have to return, squelch not working on second day.
Can set squelch to 0 and receive but anyone who runs vhf/uhf knows that, unlike hf, an open squelch is just too noisy.
Price
All in all great at a great price.
Pair with a tram or similar antenna, and you can get on the air in your home qth or mobile for under $100 - that's pretty cool.
For the price, you're getting a good little radio.

There is a bit of a bug that made me need to change the channel number of the repeater i keep in the top position on the screen but thats no biggie

I will note that i live in texas and the car gets hot and the rubber knob gets a little loosey goosey on the potentiometer
