Pros

The 4 inch blades are the highest quality of any kitchen shear or scissor i have tried. I use them for everything from cutting meat, dried fruit, opening cardboard boxes, snipping those pesky metal twist ties that come on every kids' toy imagineable.

Everything sold under victorinox brand is the best in its class and reasonably priced. It's good to see some manufacturers still take pride in their work.

This is my second set of shears, and only because i used the first pair so much and for everything around the house, that they were misplaced. These kitchen shears are awesome. Use them every day.

Great sharp shears. Bottle opener tool works ok. Good kitchen tool.

Cons

Look like secondhand scissors, mine have scratches. Not worth it.

They cut and they match the rest of the cutlery same quality as the rest of the victorinox stuff.

The video shows just a few items these scissors can cut, including a stack of index cards, cardboard, plastic shipping bags, etc.

Competitiveness

I have not used them to cut through bones or anything that should be cut with heavy-duty pruning or butcher shears.

In fact these are very similar to a wusthof pair we own that were literally double the price.

Probably not the most hygenic thing in the world, but they can be taken apart for cleaning!
