As noted by others the neckline is like what is shown in the drawings not like what is shown in the picture of the model

After photographing it on a model the way the neckline had been sewn higher seemed to give the dress an awkward fit in the neckline

Ideally it should be sewn or pinned for about the bottom third of the overlap to create a flirty neckline little risk of wardrobe accidents

I’m assuming someone had it tailored then returned it since the pictures don’t show such a high neck

Not a problem though i trimmed the alteration and it’s much cuter now more like the picture

Also the tie around the waist is much shorter with gold detailing and no tassels and the length of the dress is much shorter than depicted
