Pros
Water gets hot enough to cook hot cereal. Great for coffee, tea, hot cocoa. Mostly noticable at night. Ohhh so nice for camping.
This is a serious workhorse which quickly produces a good supply of ice. It's amazing to find such machine that does all we need as space saver. I wish they have that in pellets ice.

Nonetheless after some tender loving care and reading the supplied instructions i thoroughly cleaned it’s recommended components and allowed it to settle for more than 24 hours before it was plugged in

Although i couldn’t determine where the leak was coming from here’s my theory isi believe that the open access where the ice is disbursed is the source

Not sure why the manufacturer left this gaping access unsecured and completely exposed not only for the possibilities of leaks but for insects or other creatures to access should they want too
