Pros

It's a realistic looking flame. It’s much prettier than staring into an ashy hole. Great option to fill in fp with realistic look logs and flame.

It throws no head backwards or upwards, though it does pull some air from the top of the unit.

The colors are amazing, love the variety and classy overall look it gives. Very customizable, tons of background and flame colors from which to choose. Comes with jewel pieces that it came with.

Cons

Where it falls short is how it looks simulating a fire. It's not at all realistic and could have easily been corrected by randomizing the flicker. And it's too noisy.

I have been wanting one of these electric fireplace log inserts for awhile and the price was too good to resist any longer.

I didn't want to the cost of adding gas logs.
