Pros

Use on chilly mornings/evenings instead of heat pump. Helps us not to turn the oil burner on. No longer use wood burning fireplace.

This effect is very nice! It’s much prettier than staring into an ashy hole. Great option to fill in fp with realistic look logs and flame.

Product is exactly as described in profile. Just plug and go. The remote makes it so much more convenient and stress free.

I love the ambience the flame and logs and heat it good. I i like the auxiliary heater because this room gets a little cool in the evenings during the winter. Very cozy, with or without added heat.

The only bad part is the noise maker which has a tinny sound. Ours has no sound effects (as mentioned in a couple reviews), so i assume that's the upgrade they refer to. It is not very noisy at all.

Cons

The product looks very nice, but it was advertised to heat and raise the temperature of a 500 square foot room. It's not at all realistic and could have easily been corrected by randomizing the flicker. And it's too noisy.
