Pros
Makes great, chewable ice every 8 minutes or so. Holds about 5 cups of water in the reservoir. I hope it lasts a long time and that is a huge hope because we have very hard water. The 'fresh' ice is soft enough to munch on.
This ice maker is a perfect cure to a dead ice maker in my fridge. Just like your refrigerator or deep freezer.
Cons
Ice full" light comes on and stays on and then it quits making ice. Small cubes melt quicker than large ice. Created oily ice.
Worked great until january 2022 and then quit making ice. It’s so *! Not just 6 months. Too much work. This is ridiculous! It's heavy and cumbersome.
Do yourself a favor and get a quality product from a reputable seller. The warranty covers it for 1 year so now they won’t do anything about it. There are a few hacks online to remedy it temporarily, but it is a constant battle.
