I have had the stl360 sensor fail on me in the past moisture intrusion though the judicious use of ptfe tape and caulk should limit failure potential

Only drawback is that the sensor controls are both visible and adjustable if the unit his not placed in a position where it cannot be tampered with

And while the ffled18 head unit is rocksolid the same cannot be said about the plastic arm and housing of the sensor
