The trouble was that was a little too far so things didnt line up right and i kept trying to make it work with no success for some time

Then i realized the issue and i was able to work the bar back and line it up manually

I wasted an hour trying to get the lynch pins in before i managed to figure out a way to make it much easier

I still had to use a hammer to drive them through but the hard part was getting them on in the first place

As others have described this step is very difficult for the novice

I was able to get one in place but had to give up on the second as the plastic piece did not line up for the cotter pin to go through

I would have had to cut the thick plastic to make it work
