You do have to pay attention to your cooking

Its nit the pans fault but if you forget it on the stove and burn oil galic and salt it will be very hard to remove

It does have some minor scratching and cooked on food on the paint bottom i have a gas stove with heavy duty iron grates the cooked on food is from others in the household not thoroughly cleaning after using
