Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The larger is perfect for serving a tossed salad or a mix of vegetables. The smaller is good for serving cottage cheese, fresh strawberries, dipping sauces or even a batch of gravy. The large one is smaller than expected but its so great for meal prep...  Read More

Rachael ray cityscapes ceramic mixing bowl set is a must-have for any mixing job. Great mixing bowls, easy to hold and pour with.

These are nice bowls, stoneware and fully glazed on the inside. The glazed surface is scratch resistant so they’ll hold up to some *. Ceramic is much easier to clean and is using a wire whisk, it better than using metal on metal.

They are ergonomic and much easier to use than the old bowls. The pour spout actually pours, not dribbles. The handles also help you keep hold of it while you stir/whisk/etc.

Cons

Bowls are okay but kind of cheaply made for the price. Try mixing a cake in even a two quart bowl.

These rachael ray 2-pc stoneware mixing bowls (a set - 2) in light blue are really pretty.

Bowl fits my general needs better, and there isn’t a 5qt.

Wish they were made in the usa.

The spout actually pours not dribbles

It’d be a big help to have that upfront so customers know the sizes they are receiving

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

More decorative than useful though because the bowls are too heavy to hold safely onehanded and the tiny spout is too tiny to really do the job when pouring

I love stoneware so they caught my eye immediately

I know a warm homemade oatmeal cookie does so perhaps there is an indirect correlation

This doesn’t mean these are bad but just not suited to my needs – in their intended role

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Just like all stoneware thermal shock is an issue
